Momen Buys Food Cart Momen on the job
in Kabul
Of all the people we met in Afghanistan perhaps the one who touched our hearts most was a street child named Momen. Momen is just one of an estimated 60,000 street children in Kabul, Afghanistan. His sisters had to leave home because the family could not afford to house them on their only source of income- Momen's begging. With a small donation of capital from LDP and Reza's "know how" we were able to provide Momen's family with a typical local business - a cart from which to sell merchandise.
